Pricing Your Work

There's two general formats for this, and you've probably seen a lot more guides on the first kind:

• pricing based on your supplies

• pricing based on market demand

I myself am pretty firmly in the latter kind, so this guide will be both about that and why it's better.

In the case of being a freelancer artist type, your supplies are time and energy more than physical goods like raw materials but are no less valuable, and, in fact, are probably more valuable by being intangible.
